Waimea Kāhui Ako Cultural Festival

The inaugural Waimea Kāhui Ako Cultural Festival took place on 28th June 2019, with students from 11 schools across our Kāhui gathering to share performances.  

​

Since then the Cultural Festival has become an important event on our annual calendar, taking place in Term Three each year. 

​

Join us in celebrating the unity and diversity that define our community. Witness the culmination of hard work and passion as our student cultural leaders take the stage, supported by dedicated kaiako.

Many thanks to our Across School Teachers and supporting kaiako for their organisation of the event.
Thanks also to Waimea College for hosting, student cultural leaders from our Colleges for leading the event, and kaiako, tamariki and rangatahi from our schools for sharing in this day.
