Creating a class on Khan Academy allows teachers to set specific tasks for their classes and to monitor progress.
Note: when using sites that are not New Zealand based: Year 11, 12, 13 NZ = Grade 10, 11, 12 USA = Y 11, 12, 13 UK

You can learn any subject for free, from Y1-Y13+ on Khan Academy.
Teachers can set subject specific tasks for their class, invite students to join their class using a code & monitor progress. While Khan Academy is based in the USA, curriculum content for subjects like Mathematics, Sciences and Finance is very similar to NZ.

NCEA help from real students and teachers. Find standards or ask a question about Maths, English or Sciences. There are examples, and tips for each subject at each level. Click the 'other resources' section in any subject for extra website links with videos, interactive activities and notes.
Duolingo is an interactive language learning site, with game elements to motivate. There is also a Duolingo app, that will send students reminders to practice.
A NZ based site, with videos and worksheets for Secondary New Zealand Maths. The 'Booklets' section, allows you to download entire booklets of worked examples and exercises fro NCEA Levels 1, 2 & 3.

Created by the University of Auckland, STEM Online NZ provides free online learning for Physics standards 90940, 91171, 91524 and Mathematics standards 91028 & 91027, with a plan to expand this during 2020. Teachers need to register their class, as the only condition of students using this site is that they have the guidance of a teacher.
